Ingles & Bee City USA Team Up at Sourwood Festival, August 10-11, 2013

Picture

The annual Sourwood Festival began in Black Mountain, North Carolina to showcase the area’s treasured sourwood honey. While there was no sourwood honey to sell this year (probably because of record rainfall that kept bees in the hive during the sourwood bloom), there were lots of folks interested in sustaining bees.

Giant worker bee Chrysse Everhart showed up to pass out honey sticks courtesy of the National Honey Bee Advisory Board. Our booth slogan was: “The bees need you! (Almost as much you need them.)”
