Reems Creek Nursery in Weaverville, NC–Saturday, July 13 at 10 a.m.

Flowers & butterflies…what a pleasurable combo, right? It’s pretty AND it really helps out Mother Nature. Did you know that butterflies and bees are under pressure from loss of habitat, pesticide use, and other factors? About one third of the food we eat every day (including chocolate!) is dependent on pollinators. Design your garden to be an invitation and safe harbor for butterflies and other useful pollinators. Learn how to create a butterfly/pollinator-friendly habitat in your own yard that is beautiful to behold, will offer needed food sources to butterflies/pollinators, and will provide enjoyment for the whole family. It’s fun!  Free, but please pre-register by calling 828-645-3937.
